What this website and our Facebook posting tool collect, and what we do with it. Last updated October 2, 2026.
Cub Scout Pack 73 and Scouts BSA Troop 73 are Scouting America units chartered by St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Zieglerville, PA, part of the Cradle of Liberty Council. Volunteer leaders run both units.
This policy covers greenlanescouts73.org and 73 Poster, the tool our leaders use to publish to the units' Facebook Pages.
73 Poster is a private tool operated only by our leaders. It schedules and publishes posts to two Facebook Pages we manage, Pack 73 Green Lane and Troop 73 Green Lane, and reads those Pages' own recent posts so new posts stay consistent.
It does not offer Facebook Login and is not used by the public. It does not read anyone's profile, friends, messages, or comments, and it collects no information about people who view, like, follow, or comment on our Pages. Anything you do on Facebook itself is covered by Meta's own privacy policy.
When you send the form on our Join page, we receive what you type: your name, email, phone number, what you tell us about your children, how you heard about us, and your message.
Leaders use it only to get in touch with you about joining. It is kept in the units' own records and a leader-only spreadsheet. We never sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside our leaders.
Leaders and registered families can sign in. For them we keep the account's name and email and a record of sign-ins. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in. Visitors who do not sign in get no cookies from us.
We run no analytics, tracking, or advertising. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google sees the request the way it would for any site using them.
This site is meant for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Information about a child reaches us only when a parent or guardian sends it.
73 Poster holds no information about Facebook users, so there is nothing from it to delete.
To have your join form or account information deleted, email leader@greenlanescouts73.org and a leader will remove it and confirm when it is done.
Email leader@greenlanescouts73.org. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
